'Tomorrow’s Leaders Summit’ (TLS) will be held at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK), Kuching on March 18 to 20. TLS will focus on the important group of 18-40 year olds, asking the key questions, who will make up the leaders of tomorrow and how to develop the leaders of tomorrow?
Chief Minister Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud is expected to officiate at the event. Among the issue that will be discussed are ways to minimise the gap between urban and rural youths and its impact on development. The summit is also a platform for youth leaders to voice out issues and ideas to senior leaders.
The likes of Ms Andrea Fonseka (Miss Universerse (Malaysia) 2004), Mr Geofrey Perrin Williams (Actor & Informed Youth), Ms Amber Chia (Fashion Model, Mother, Businesswoman), Mr Faisal Abdullah (Fashion designer), Ms Lina Teo (Miss Malaysia World 1999), Mr Harizal Zain (Director of Documentaries) and many more all gathered in Kuching for the summit.
The organiser, Syarikat Glenreagh Sdn Bhd will work with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Science Academy and other youth organisations such as Sarawak National Youth Organisation (Saberkas).
