Great achievement SPM 2010 results for Sarawak

SPM 2010 results was announced nationwide yesterday. It is a natural excitement for students and all school leavers to know the news. Happy, sad...

For Sarawak, the state achieved encouraging results for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2010, with the number of students achieving A+ increasing significantly.

The results were a marked improvement as compared to 2009 when only nine students scored straight A+ in all subjects.

State Education director Abdillah Adam said out of the 36 students, Rebecca Wong from SMK Methodist in Sibu was the only student who scored 11A+ in all subjects.

Five schools obtained 100% passing rate in all subjects. They are SM Sains Kuching, SM Sains Miri, Kolej Tun Datuk Tuanku Haji Bujang in Miri, Maktab Rendah Sains Mara Kuching and Maktab Rendah Sains Mara Betong.

One of Sarawak's top SPM scorer's attributed his success in the examination to the way he spent more time on studies and less on Facebook (FB). The student from SMK Green Road who scored 10A+ in the examination said he only spent 15 minutes daily on the social network.

Congrats for those scored the good results..:))
